We don't need no water....

As you may or may not know (I for one did not, but fortunately for me the internet makes me appear both intelligent and insightful) today marks the 138th anniversary of the great Chicago fires. Thanks to the O'Leary's cow kicking over a lantern in a barn, 200+ people died, 17,500 buildings burned, 100,000 people were left homeless. All in all an estimated 200 million dollars in damages occurred, which today would equal roughly 7 billion dollars.

Bad cow.

To celebrate, here's a little Bloodhound Gang with their classic... Fire Water Burn. Always loved the video, though back in the day it didn't get much airtime.

Hope your day is going well!

Nancy Grace is a Genius

I was listening to the local morning show on KLAQ, and they were playing clips of Nancy Grace ripping into John Gosselin of John and Kate Plus 8 fame. It was the usual bad father/not doing it for the kids/acting like a child diatribe one would expect from Nancy Grace. So just for shits and giggles here's a bit of her in action on Celebrity Jeopardy. And no... it's not an SNL skit.

What do vegetarian zombies eat?

Are you there, internet? It's me, Jimmy

Like a veritable net-Phoenix I once again rise from the depths of digital obscurity to proclaim my Internet supremacy. And by Internet supremacy I mean my infantile attempt at procuring a decent readership with a total lack of effort on my part.

But hey, got a text message tonight basically kicking me in the ass for being social-networking-anti-social. So here I am, take me or leave me.

Time has passed, children have gotten larger and chock full of personality; and the same three-headed monkey (work/school/symphony) is ass-raping my ability to successfully procrastinate.

So business as usual.

But I digress.

You can't hate me, because here's an adorable picture of my little girl. If she was yours, you'd spend less time on the computer too.

(We were doing a quick photo shoot for her birthday invitation. It's her Halloween costume you see, since her birthday falls on the tail end of October)

Moving on, it's great to be back. And I think I've got enough Moxie stored up to safely begin a steady slew of madness for the coming seasons. Hope you are all well. Missed you.

Peace out, bitches!

Jimmy

P.S. More to come, and thanks for the nudge.
